Ski Jacquard Crew Socks - Black

These retro wool socks are inspired by ski sweaters from the 1970s. Slow made in Nara, these are quite a special from Rototo. 

These crew socks are knitted on a relatively old special knitting machine using Jacquard knitting, which does not show yarn terminals on the reverse side. The number of knitting machines that can produce Jacquard and the number of craftsmen who can handle them are decreasing every year, and both are now very rare. 
Compared to the latest knitting machines, this method requires a slower knitting speed and takes more time, but the texture and comfort that mass-produced knitting machines cannot provide are unique to this type of knitting machine.
