SIWA x Samiro Yunoki Collaboration

This limited edition collection was released to celebrate SIWA's 10-year anniversary, it features five prints created by artist Samiro Yunoki.

Samiro Yunoki (1922) is a master of stencil dying in Japan who was inspired by the “Folk Art Movement” promoted by Muneyoshi Yanagi and became the apprentice of stencil-dyer Keisuke Serizawa. In addition to stencil dying, Samiro Yunoki, who is still active today, also creates attractive works such as lithographs, copperplate paintings, glass paintings and picture books.

This naoron paper pouch features a zipper closure and inner compartment to keep your items organized and tidy. Its size makes it the perfect travel companion.

Developed in-house by SIWA, RPF Naoron (Recycled PET Fiber Naoron) is a special paper created using the washi-suki paper manufacturing method from recycled polyester fibers from used plastic bottles and textile products.

Since this limited edition product was made by cutting the larger printed Naoron material, each product has a slightly different pattern. Please note that the print placement will vary per individual product and might not match the picture.

This portable piece was made to change over time, the more you use it, the softer and more beautiful it will become, additional marks and creases are to be expected as well as some discoloration.
